Healing By Design offers free, live classes open to adults of all ages. Whether you’re seeking healing or a deeper understanding of God’s love, these sessions provide meaningful teachings on His promises and how they shape your life.

Years ago, I was diagnosed with very aggressive arthritis that was causing severe deterioration in my right shoulder. It was so aggressive that my doctor called me into his office to deliver the news and provide consolation that there was nothing I could do about it except take cortisone shots, pain meds and meds to control the flare ups and inflammation. I soon realized none of those options were working for me. So, over the years, I just learned to cope with the pain. Jim was kicking off a special event called Healing School, sponsored by Healing by Design, but on the night of the kickoff, I had one of the worst flare-ups I have had in a while. My shoulder was burning. I had a knot the size of a golf ball in my shoulder blade. I had a baseball sized knot on the top of my shoulder. My arm was numb, and my right hand was swollen. I contemplated staying home, but decided I would go to the kickoff and ignore how I was feeling. No sooner than when I touched the door handle to the conference room, all pain, knots and swelling completely disappeared. I was healed in an instant. No one knew I was in pain. In fact, no one even knew I had arthritis, but God knew. I didn’t ask for prayer, but I didn’t have to because God met me in the room and rewarded me for stepping out on faith. I decided to ignore my symptoms and chose to trust God. What I love about this healing is that it is a modern-day confirmation that where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is there! Jesus was in the room that night. He greeted me in a big way. I’ve been pain free, knot free, and swelling free ever since that night!
