Stories Of Healing By Design

After coming to Healing by Design for a few months, I put my faith to the test. One night while driving home, I began to feel the symptoms of a cold. Initially, I had treated the symptoms like any other cold I’ve had in the past which was to “let it run its course” and simply stop at the store to pick up some cold medicine to control the coughing, sneezing, fever and other symptoms that accompany a cold. This time was different, I heard the Holy Spirit ask: “Why don’t you cast it out?” At first, I was hesitant and almost resistant to the idea and began wondering: “Why would I pray about something so trivial? God has better things to do than worry about a cold.” I heard the Holy Spirit speak again, but this time it was not a question: “Cast it out” I heard him say firmly. So, I took a leap of faith and spoke health and healing over my body. I opened up the passenger window of my truck and told that spirit of infirmity and affliction to get out of my body and get out of my truck! And wouldn’t you know it, it was gone! You too might think what you’re facing is trivial to God. Matter of fact, when I shared this testimony with someone, they actually said to me: “I was looking for something more significant.” Now, I’ll admit, I got a little righteously indignant and replied: “Do you have a cure for the common cold? Well I do and it’s God. Have you ever cast out sickness from your body and it obeyed and left? Well I did, and that’s because Jesus gave me His power and authority.” Remember, God cares about every aspect of your life, big and small. I hope this inspires you to exercise your faith and trust God.
